Entrepreneurship and
private sector development

We work with international development agencies, governments, companies
and business associations — including the World Bank, United Nations Development
Programme (UNDP), and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)
 — to strengthen entrepreneurial ecosystems and unlock market potential in
diverse economic contexts.
Our approach is grounded in international best practices and adapted to the
unique challenges and opportunities of each local environment. From supporting
early-stage start-ups to enhancing the competitiveness of value chains, we focus on
inclusive and responsible business growth. Where appropriate, we advance impact
entrepreneurship concepts, including social or impact-driven franchising. Our work
promotes the socio-economic inclusion of women, youth, refugees, and other
marginalised groups, in line with global initiatives such as the SDGs and the UN’s
Inclusive Business framework. By fostering partnerships between public and private actors,
improving access to finance, and driving regulatory reform, we help create conditions
 where businesses can thrive and contribute to broad-based economic resilience.
We also have a deep expertise in emerging markets, transitional economies, and in
fragile and conflict-affected contexts, where economic development efforts are influenced
by multidimensional challenges but can also underpin the resilience of key systems and actors.
