The mission consisted of assessing the financial performance of the two partners - 'Center for Economic and Social Studies, Documentation and Research' (CEDRES) and the 'Regional Directorate for Human Rights and Civic Promotion' (DRDHPC) in the Central East Region of Burkina Faso. This analysis is to ensure that they have qualified human resources and sound administrative and financial procedures for the proper management of grant agreements. The analysis included a review of the financial systems and processes put in place by these structures such as the budgetary framework, the accounting system, budgetary monitoring, financial reporting, internal and external control mechanisms, cash management. Based on the findings, proposals for risk control measures (for ENABEL) were identified and considered when signing the grant agreements considered.
