Institutional and organisational assessments of FISAN, FAFPA and ANFICT (partner organisations of Enabel in Niger)

Institutional and organisational  assessments of three (targeted) partner organisations of the Belgian development cooperation in Niger: 

(1) Investment Fund for Food and Nutritional Security (FISAN); 

(2) the Vocational Training and Apprenticeship Support Fund (FAFPA);

(3) the National Agency for Funding of Local Authorities – Regions and Municipalities (ANFICT).

Contributing to the formulation and the start-up of (components of) the REEL-Mahita programme,  the assessments focussed on the institutional context, financial management, procurement, overall governance systems, strategic management and partner organisation’s capacity to implement (components of) the (envisaged) development programme.

The assignment comprised formulating recommendations for capacity development and risk management as well as contributions to the design / update of the theory of change and/or roadmap for the REEM Mahita programme (support to entrepreneurship in the livestock sector).
