Formulation of a clean cities programme (SANITA VP2) for the peripheric municipalities of Conakry – Guinea
Guinea

Project start date: 2019-11-01 - Project end date: 2020-04-30

Contributions to formulating SANITA VP2, an EU-funded clean cities program for the peripheric municipalities of Conakry. As members of a 4-persons formulation team, our contribution focused on public-sector governance, capacity building of all public, private, and civil society actors, and solid waste and circular economy-related entrepreneurship development. During the process, a review of documents took place with extensive consultation of stakeholders at local and central levels. Furthermore, a systemic analysis of the evolving contract, similarities, and differences between the peripheric municipalities and the main town of Conakry was done. Lastly, the contributions for the intervention strategy, theory of change, logical framework, and high-level work plan and budget of the program were created.
