Capacity building of civil society organisations in the use of a database for monitoring human rights violations and international crimes in Uganda

The purpose of this mission was to strengthen and harmonize the capacity of civil society in terms of encoding and managing data collection in the framework of their initiatives to monitor human rights violations.  The objective includes (1) the development of a functional and usable database and intuitively, (2) capacity building for 16 staff members of these organizations, known as "encoders," in data encoding, (3) Capacity building of 4 people at the head of these organizations, the so-called "administrators", in data administration. (4) Evaluation and monitoring, in the medium term, of the capacity of the staff of these organizations to encode data and manage the database.
