This study is aimed at identifying and evaluating local civil society organizations in Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger that are involved in the prevention and legal support of people who consider themselves victims of human rights violations by members of the defense and security forces, particularly in the Liptako region-Gourma. Methods used in this study included field data collection, conflict analysis, data analysis and led to the making of an inception report, a mapping of field actors, risk assessments, guidelines for a plan to strengthen the means of action, and other recommendations.
