Final evaluation of the Institute of Tropical Medicine’s Directorate-General for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid (DGD) funded Belgian program 2017-2021

The purpose of this evaluation was twofold - (1) for the Institute of Tropical Medicine (ITM) to account to its donors Directorate-General for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid (DGD), and provide a neutral appreciation of the ITM's performance for all outcomes related to the Belgian program on all Criteria for Evaluating Development Assistance and several transversal topics. (2) to encourage internal learning at ITM about promising approaches to leverage research findings in support of policy and practice, lessons learned in education/scholarships, and effective outreach to the general public and specific target audiences.
